I've had a lot of students from Mexico over the summer, and they have been telling me about the Day of the Dead, so I thought I'd make a Sugar Skull this year for Halloween. Turned out pretty well, but some jerks destroyed it last night. Oh well, it survived through Halloween and was destine for the compost soon anyways

Ohhh that's an awesome tribute for El Dia de los Muertos. 
I remember having sugar candy skulls when that day came around back when I was in Mexico, but didn't quite understand the concept until I moved up here to the states and got a little older. 
Haha Very lovely work! This must've been fun to make! Hope those punks that destroyed it got caught. >.> At least you were able to take pictures of this before that happened.
